DRIVING TIME FROM THE INTERSECTION OF 89A AND SR 179:
About ten minutes.
DESCRIPTION: The pools run only after or during a
rain. However the remainder of the hike is still worth
the effort. This hike uses portions of an official
Forest Service trail with a substantial stretch of
original paths. The trail winds up the face of a mesa,
visits a trio of arches, snakes up onto the mesa and
then loops down the other side with vistas all the way
back to the origin of the hike.
