FEATURES: Panoramic views of the mountains and canyons to the southwest. A vortex site. Unusual rock formations.
LEVEL: Easy-moderate (depending on how much one explores).
HIKING TIME: Approximately 1.5 hours roundtrip.
DRIVING TIME FROM THE INTERSECTION OF 89A AND SR 179: About ten minutes.
DESCRIPTION: With only limited physical effort this hike provides access to rock formations which are unique to the area. The views are superb. Some say this vortex site yields an energy that is almost palpable. I say: This is one of my favorites when I don't
have the time for a long hike.
