HIKING TIME: Approximately four hours roundtrip. If the hiker continues on the unofficial trail, add another hour.
DRIVING TIME FROM THE INTERSECTION OF 89A AND SR 179: About 15 minutes.
DESCRIPTION: This hike passes through a wilderness canyon of Arizona cypress, juniper, and giant manzanita. If you hike to the end of the canyon, you will follow an unofficial trail that hugs a cliff face. There you will be treated to a unique rock window and monoliths of every shape and size-- all this within the background of a serene canyon.
