DESCRIPTION: This is one of the few hikes whose reward is a 360 degree view with only moderate exertion. The trail winds through cypress and manzanita
before it begins its ascent. The trail up, is lined with
a variety of vegetation. After passing the Indian sites
and reaching the top, the mesa can easily be navigated
in order to glean views of distant mountains and unique
rock formations in every direction. Bring a lunch for
this one-- once on the summit you may not want to leave.
